Google’s next Android Wear update will bring new gestures that’ll help you navigate through notifications without actually touching your watch’s display, and the preview video below will teach you exactly how to use them.

The gestures are actually incredibly simple, and there are only two to remember: flicking your wrist away from you will scroll down through new notification cards, while flicking it towards you will scroll back through them.

But like all gestures, Android Wear’s are more reliable when you use them properly, which is why Google made the one-minute video below that demonstrates the most effective motion.

Don’t try doing this on your Android Wear watch just yet, because it won’t work; you’ll need Google’s brand new Wear update, which will be available over the coming weeks. It’s pre-installed on LG’s new Watch Urbane, and will arrive first on the G Watch R.
