If regular smartphones just aren’t tough enough for you, you need something super rugged like a handset from Samsung’s Xcover series. Based on these leaked images, a new model is on the way, but don’t expect it to be a Galaxy S6 inside a sturdier shell.

Samsung’s Xcover handsets are designed not only to withstand conditions other smartphones simply couldn’t cope with, but also to be relatively affordable. While they may be incredibly tough, then, they’re not all that solid under the hood.

According to specifications obtained by GSMArena, the Xcover 3 will have a 4.8-inch display with a 800×480 resolution, a quad-core Cortex-A53 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8 GB of internal storage. It is also expected to have a 5-megapixel camera on its back, and a 2-megapixel camera on its front.

Not all that impressive, then. In fact, the Xcover 3 makes the latest midrange offerings look like stellar flagships. But again, no one buys the Xcover series for its performance; it’s bought for its ability to fall from scaffolding on a construction site and continue working without any issues.

Sources say the Xcover 3 will ship with Android 4.4.4 KitKat pre-installed, but there’s no word on when it will be available just yet.
