Next month, HTC is holding its ‘Double Exposure’ event in New York where they are rumored to unveil its own GoPro competitor. To create a hype around the device, HTC has uploaded a new teaser video titled ‘Something Remarkable is coming’ on YouTube.

The 37-second long video does not show the device in all its glory, but it does hint at it being waterproof and being capable of shooting slow-motion videos.

However, the device apparently to be called the ReCamera has already leaked in pictures thanks to a Reddit user who managed to pull some images of it from the teaser site that HTC had made live a few hours ago.

From the images, the ReCamera looks like a small PVC pipe with a camera lens attached on one side and the accompanying shutter button placed just below it.

Other details about this new GoPro competitor from HTC is not yet known, but expect these details to surface over the next couple of weeks before the product is officially unveiled.
