T-Mobile has confirmed via a press release that it will be carrying Sony’s latest flagship — the Xperia Z3 — on its network in the United States sometime “this fall.”

For reasons known only to Sony’s higher officials, the Japanese OEM has always shied away from one of the biggest smartphone markets in the world. The company only recently started selling its first half flagship — the Xperia Z2 — in the United States via its online store, nearly four months after officially unveiling it.

T-Mobile’s press release does not mention anything about the other Xperia handset that Sony announced at its event yesterday — the Xperia Z3 Compact. The carrier’s press release is also missing any information about the suggested pricing of the Z3 as well.

Rumors have also indicated that Verizon will also be selling the Xperia Z3 in the United States, but the big red carrier is yet to confirm this piece of news.

T-Mobile was the only carrier to sell Sony’s late-2013 flagship — the Xperia Z1 — in the United States albeit under a different name and quite a few months late.
