HTC One M8 owners on T-Mobile are finally getting their Android 4.4.3 update today, which brings BoomSound improvements, Extreme Power Saving mode, and a number of important security fixes. The release also makes changes to several built-in apps, including Camera, Gallery, and Settings.

The update weighs in at just over 582MB, and it comes with build number “2.22.531.5.” It’s a relatively major release and it will be the last before HTC releases Android L. Although it’s labeled “Android 4.4.3,” it actually includes all of the security patches Google made in its latest Android 4.4.4 release as well.

In addition, users can look forward to lots of Sense 6 improvements, including optimized BoomSound, the new Extreme Power Saving mode, and tweaks for Motion Launch and Quick Settings. HTC has also improved the performance of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular connections.

This update is rolling out over-the-air now to users on T-Mobile, so if you haven’t already received a notification, you can expect one imminently. You can also search for the update manually from within the Software Update section inside the Settings app.
