Earlier today, we saw the Moto X+1 pop-up in some benchmarks revealing its full specifications. Now, pictures of the front panel of the handset have also made their way online courtesy of HelloMotoHK, who also compare it side-by-side to a Moto X.

The pictures confirm that the Moto X+1 will indeed come with a larger 5.2-inch screen and front-facing speakers. The cut-outs for the speaker look pretty large, which hints at the possibility of Motorola working on a BoomSound competitor.

Compared to the original Moto X, the X+1 is definitely bigger in size but not by much, which should come as a relief for many potential buyers who are wary of big phones.

The Moto X+1 is expected to sport a 5.2-inch 1080p AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz, 2GB RAM and a 12MP camera. While none of this exactly screams high-end for a late-2014 device, Motorola has been known to optimize their software to extract the maximum juice from the hardware, and top it off with many unique features like Touch Control and Always-on voice command.

Motorola is all set to unveil the Moto X+1, the Moto 360 and a couple of other devices at an event in Chicago on September 4th.
