You can finally buy the Galaxy S5 in blue – but only at Best Buy

Samsung’s Electric Blue Galaxy S5 will finally be available to purchase in the United States this month — but it will be a Best Buy exclusive. Prices will start at $149.99 on a two-year contract with Verizon, and aside from its paint job, the new handset will be identical to its siblings in looks and specifications.

So, you get the gorgeous 5.1-inch 1080p display, a super speedy Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera. There’s also 16GB of storage built-in and a microSD card slot for expansion, a fingerprint scanner, and a heart rate monitor. The handset comes with Android 4.4 KitKat and Samsung’s latest TouchWiz user interface.

If you want the Electric Blue Galaxy S5 on AT&T, it’ll cost you $199.99 upfront. Alternatively, you can buy it off-contract and commitment-free thanks to MetroPCS, but that pushes the price right up to $649.99.

Before you spend your cash, you should know that Samsung has a number of new devices up its sleeve that will be available over the next couple of months — including the much-anticipated Galaxy Note 4, and the Galaxy Alpha, a new device with an aluminum frame that looks a lot like the iPhone.

Unless you’re completely sure you want the Galaxy S5, then, it could be worth waiting a little longer before signing that contract.
