Reddit Offline feeds your addiction even when you’re… offline
If you’ve got a Reddit addiction, you need a regular fix of the front page whenever the urge strikes — even if you’re offline. Reddit Offline for Android helps you get that.
This free app downloads Reddit content in the background when you do have a Wi-Fi or data connection so that it’s ready and waiting for you when you don’t. And you don’t just get text posts, but also images — including GIFs and Imgur galleries — and even comments.
There are other Reddit apps that provide an offline reading function, but Reddit Offline is unique in that it downloads all comments as well as posts. After all, interacting with other users and reading the reaction to Reddit posts is often the thing that makes the network so enjoyable.
Reddit Offline sports a clean and clear user interface, and because it’s so lightweight, it’s super snappy — even though it is in pre-release testing right now. It’s also surprisingly stable. It will crash here and there — particularly under heavy load — but I’ve been using it for about a day now and it has only closed twice during that time.
And of course, the app’s only going to become more stable as it progresses. Its creator, Naive Code, also promises a scheduled sync feature for a future update, and more.
Reddit Offline is free to download and it doesn’t display ads, and you can get it by following the link below.
