OnePlus One to finally begin shipping from today

A couple of days ago, we reported that the initial batch of OnePlus One shipment have been delayed again because of some OpenSSL vulnerabilities, which the CyanogenMod team decided to fix before shipping the handset.

Now, in a quick turn of events, the CM team has managed to fix the bugs and get the required certification again, which allows OnePlus to ship the phones to consumers from as early as today i.e. June 13.

We did choose to delay the shipment of the first phones in order to make sure the software was secure and provided the best possible user experience. The CyanogenMod team worked very quickly and efficiently and the Open SSL issues have already been fixed. The first OnePlus Ones ship to early users with invites as early as tomorrow,” OnePlus stated

So, if you are among the lucky hundred(s) who managed to get an invite and order a OnePlus One, do check your inbox for an email containing the shipment information of your handset.

Other interested buyers who are still waiting to get their hands on an invite, make sure to follow the official @oneplus account on Twitter. The company will be giving away 100 invites each day for the next five days to users who quickly complete some trivial tasks.
