LG teases ‘grip-ability’ of G3

LG-G3-official

A couple of days ago, LG posted a trio of videos teasing the G3 and even giving us a glimpse of the handset itself. Today, it has posted another teaser video on YouTube teasing its “grip-ability”.

LG devices are known for having ridiculously small bezel space and if the video is anything to go by, the G3 is going to set the bar even higher (lower, actually).

In the video, the company even makes the bold claim that you “might forget you’re holding a 5.5-inch smartphone” in your hand. Even though it is just a teaser video, LG is pretty much spot on about the lack of bezels helping in increasing the “grip-ability” of a device. Considering the huge bezels that the Galaxy S5 and the HTC One M8 sport, the relative lack of it on the G3 is actually going to be one of its design highlights.

The LG G3 is expected to sport a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, a Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB RAM and a 13MP OIS+ camera. Specs wise, the handset can stand its own against the likes of the Galaxy S5 and the HTC One M8. However, to overshadow Samsung’s marketing, LG needs to compete on more than just the specs department.

LG is scheduled to unveil the G3 tomorrow (i.e. on May 27th) in an event to be held in three different cities across the world.
