LG G2 Mini Hitting Global Markets In April

LG G2 Mini

The LG G2 Mini was announced last month as a smaller variant of LG’s popular G2 smartphone. The Korean manufacturer has now detailed the global launch of this smartphone with several markets including Russia and CIS countries expected to get it next month. This will be followed by Asia, Europe, Latin Americas and African countries.

Pricing details haven’t been disclosed yet, but the smartphone will be launched in dual SIM, 3G and 4G LTE models depending on the region. The standard G2 Mini comes with a 4.7 inch 960 x 540 resolution display, an 8-megapixel camera and a 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 chipset. The Latin American LTE model comes with a 13-megapixel camera and a 1.7 GHz quad core NVIDIA Tegra 4 SoC.

All variants feature a 2,440 mAh battery and come with Android 4.4.2 KitKat featuring LG’s user interface. Users will also find software features such as the LG Knock Code, Quick Window and Clip Tray on the handset.

The design of the G2 Mini is very reminiscent of the full sized G2 with the thin bezels and the back placed action keys. Customers will get to choose from titan black, lunar white, red and gold color variants depending on markets.
