Moto 360 Smartwatch Could Have Limited Availability At Launch [Rumor]

Moto 360

The Moto 360 smartwatch was announced yesterday shortly after Google made the Android Wear project public. Much to the fans surprise, Motorola mentioned that this device would make its way to the markets by summer in a couple of months. But it is now being revealed that the smartwatch might see a very limited availability.

According to a revelation made on a Chinese forum, the Moto 360 could face some manufacturing issues due to its circular display, which could mean that it won’t be available in adequate quantities at launch. It is also being said that the smartwatch might not be available everywhere as initially expected.

However the manufacturer hasn’t confirmed this yet, so there’s not much clarity available on the real issue at the moment. Perhaps Motorola would look to launch the Moto 360 only in the U.S. knowing the following it enjoys in the region. So there are several theories floating around at the moment.

Fans can always turn to the LG G Watch if the Moto 360 isn’t available globally. It is pretty much the same as Motorola’s offering sans the aesthetic appeal.
