Galaxy Note 3 Neo Now Lands In South Korea

Note 3 Neo Scale

Following a successful launch in India earlier this week, Samsung has announced that the scaled-down variant of its flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo, is now available to purchase in its home market. However, unlike the other Neo variants, this Korean exclusive model sports the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset.

Apart from the upgraded processor, all other internal components have been kept the same, meaning the handset continues to sport a gorgeous 5.5-inch super AMOLED display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, a 2.3GHz quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable flash memory, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, a Mali-T624 GPU and a user-removable 3,100 mAh battery.

In addition, the Note 3 Neo ships running the latest build of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean skinned with Samsung’s TouchWiz custom user interface, which the South Korean company claims ‘is the easier way to use your device, giving you intuitive control over everyday tasks’. Though, it’s anticipated that the devices will receive the eagerly-awaited KitKat update in the not-too-distant future.

The handset is currently listed for 800,000 won ($750) and is available to purchase in both black and white colorways. Samsung has publicly announced that customers who purchase accessories for the handset from its official web store will receive a significant discount on the price of the handset, starting Monday, March 17.
