Sprint Rolls Out Android 4.4 KitKat For The Galaxy Note 3

Galaxy-Note-3-KitKat

Sprint has begun rolling out the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The 503.6MB release is being distributed over-the-air with build number “N900PVPUCNAB,” and it brings a number of nice TouchWiz improvements.

In addition to the features you’d expect from any KitKat upgrade — such as Google Cloud Print and support for full-screen apps — the update adds support for music album art on the lock screen, a camera shortcut on the lock screen, and the ability to set your launcher from within the Settings app.

The update is rolling out to users all over the U.S. as you read this, so if you haven’t already received a notification to say it’s ready to download, you might want to search for it manually from within the Software Updates menu in Settings. And if you notice any other changes, be sure to let us know about them in the comments section below.
