Samsung Galaxy TabPRO & NotePRO Tablets Now Available In Europe

Galaxy NotePRO

The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO tablets are formally entering European markets today. Unlike yesterday’s American launch — which saw just the NotePRO and 10.1-inch TabPRO making their debut — all three variants of the Galaxy TabPRO are available.

As expected, the pricing isn’t going to be low — the top-end Wi-Fi only Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 costs €749, while the Galaxy TabPRO 12.2 costs €649. The 10.1 inch Galaxy TabPRO is priced at €479 and the 8.4 inch Galaxy TabPRO costs €370.

The 4G LTE or cellular variants of these tablets will cost roughly €100 more.

The Galaxy TabPRO 12.2 and the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 feature almost identical specs with the only difference being the lack of S-Pen support on the TabPRO 12.2. The rest of the specs sheet includes a 12.2 inch 2560 x 1600 resolution display, an 8MP camera on the back with a 2MP front facing shooter, 3GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 800 or an octa core Exynos 5420 chipset and Android 4.4 KitKat with Samsung’s new Magazine UX.

The Galaxy NotePRO packs a 9,500 mAh battery while the Galaxy TabPRO 12.2 features a slightly smaller 8,220 mAh battery. The Galaxy TabPRO 10.1 and 8.4 tablets share most of the specs from the 12.2 inch TabPRO, but with slightly lesser RAM at 2GB. All variants of the tablets come with a microSD card slot, so storage expansion isn’t a concern.
