Motorola has begun its Android 4.4.2 KitKat soak test for the Sprint Moto X. A number of customers have reportedly received emails from the “Motorola Feedback Network,” which invites them to trial the update ahead of its public release.

The news comes days after Motorola rolled out the same update for T-Mobile’s Moto X. If that release is anything to go by, then it won’t take long for the software to pass its soak test and make its way into public hands. That’s providing everything goes smoothly, of course.

Like the T-Mobile update, the Sprint version is expected to bring Google Cloud Print, and fixes for battery life and an email sync delay. It should weigh in at around 147MB, and users will receive a notification when it’s ready to download over-the-air.
