Motorola’s Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the Moto X is making its way to device on T-Mobile in the United States. The 147MB release, which comes with build number “161.44.25,” adds Google Cloud Print and delivers a number of important bug fixes.

The rollout follows a successful “soak test” that saw the update sampled on a limited number of Moto X devices earlier this month. Those who weren’t included in the test should be getting the release over the coming days. Here’s a full rundown of the changes:

  • Google Cloud Print
Added support for printing photos, Google Docs, GMail messages, and other content via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and hosted services like Google Cloud Print and HP ePrinters.
  • Improved battery life
Fixed bugs which caused a small number of users to experience shorter battery life after upgrading to Android 4.4.
  • Fixed email sync delay
Fixed a bug that could cause email services like Microsoft Exchange to experience intermittent delays in data synchronization.

The update is being issued over-the-air, and you will receive a notification when it’s ready to download to your device. If you’re impatient (who isn’t when it comes to new software updates?), then you can search for it manually from within the System Updates menu inside the Settings app.
