LG G3 Trademark Filing Confirms The Smartphone’s Imminent Arrival
LG has just trademarked the G3 moniker for the upcoming LG G3 smartphone, thus clearing all doubts regarding the naming of its next-generation flagship. Despite the LG G2 being hardly six months old, then, a successor is already in the making — and could be right around the corner.
Such is the impact of Samsung in the mobile industry which launches a flagship every six months with the Galaxy S flagship of the year followed by the Note phablet in September.
The LG G3 is no mystery as several leaks in the past have revealed almost every aspect of the smartphone, including the hardware specs sheet. It is believed that the device will feature a 5.5 inch QHD 2K resolution display, a Snapdragon 805 display, 3GB of RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat, and the iconic rear action keys placed beneath the camera sensor.
But before LG unveils the LG G3, we have the G Pro 2 phablet to look forward to which is set for an unveiling during the MWC in a few weeks from now.
