Blu has today increased it mid-range line up by introducing the Life Pure Mini, a scaled-down variant of its 2014 flagship smartphone, the Life Pure. According to the North American company, the Mini is designed and manufactured from a single piece of polycarbonate using CNC technology, in order to keep the cost low.

In terms of specifications, the handset packs a 4.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, a 1.5GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera equipped with optical image stabilization and an LED flash, a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, 16GB of expandable internal memory and a 3,000 mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery, which, according to Blu, lasts for about 35 hours of average use.

The Life Pure Mini will ship running the latest build of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean skinned with the OEM’s extremely vivid and productive custom user interface, which can be removed by heading into settings and changing the appearance of the built-in launcher. Alternatively, you could install a third-party launcher from the Google Play Store, and luckily for you, we have prepared a few suggestions which you can access by clicking here.
