Press Render Of Red Nexus 5 Leaks Three Days Before The Alleged Announcement Date

A leaked press render for the upcoming red variant of Google’s flagship smartphone, the Nexus 5, has now been posted on Twitter just a couple of days after the image of an internal Sprint document appeared online revealing that the company was preparing to launch the red colored handset on February 4.

As for the specifications, the red Nexus 5 will pack exactly the same internals as the black and white colorways, sporting a 4.9-inch True HD IPS+ capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 chipset powered by four 2.3GHz Krait 400 CPU’s, an Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2,300 mAh Li-Po non-removable battery.

The device will run Android 4.4 KitKat straight out of the box, but is upgradable to the latest build of 4.4.2 via a simple over-the-air update, which you will be prompted to download and install the first time you power up the device.
