Moto X Already Down £80 To £299 In The U.K.

The Motorola Moto X can already be snapped up for £80 ($132) cheaper than its recommended retail price in the United Kingdom, thanks to retailer The handset only went on sale in Britain on Wednesday, January 29, and most are charging around £380 ($625) for the flagship device.

Phones 4U, which has exclusivity on the white Moto X for the first three months, was one of the first to announce the device — and its charging a full £380 for it. Clove initially listed the handset at £330, but it has now reduced it to just £299 plus shipping.

Those who already ordered a Moto X from Clove at the higher price will receive a £30 refund before their handset ships.

Clove says it was planning to send devices out this week — on January 30 — but the device “required a firmware update before it was ready to ship.” That’s now complete, so shipments will start on Monday, February 3.
