ASUS unwrapped a trio of affordable Android-powered smartphones at CES earlier today, available in four, five and six-inch models. The ZenFone 6 is the company’s latest flagship smartphone, packing a fairly sizeable 6-inch display. Whilst both the ZenFone 4 and ZenFone 5 are both targeted at the lower, more budget-friendly market.

The ZenFone 4 is the least impressive of the three handsets, packing a 4-inch WVGA TFT display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2520 CPU with Quad-Thread Hyper-Threading technology, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 64GB via microSD), a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 0.3-megapixel front-facing shooter and a 1,170 mAh non-removable battery.

Whilst the ZenFone 5 is regarded as the “middle of the Road” device, powered by a 2GHz Intel Atom Z2580 CPU with Quad-Thread Hyper-Threading Technology, a 5-inch IPS HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 64GB), 8MP rear-facing and 0.2-MP front-facing cameras and a 2,050 mAh non-removable battery.

ASUS’ new flagship smartphone, the ZenFone 6, sports a beefy 6-inch IPS HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a 2GHz Intel Atom Z2580 CPU with Quad-Thread Hyper-Threading Technology, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in flash memory (expandable up to 64GB via microSD), a 13-megapixel rear-facing shooter, a 2-megapixel front camera and a 3,230 mAh non-removable battery.

All three smartphone variants will ship running the latest build of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with the multinational company’s relatively popular custom user interface plastered over the top. However, all of the handsets are expected to receive the much-anticipated Android 4.4.2 KitKat shortly after launch by way of an OTA.

Unfortunately, ASUS did not announce any availability or pricing information with regards to the devices, but it did stress that they would all be readily available for consumers to purchase, regardless of their budget.
