If Santa forgets to drop by your neighborhood this year, it may be because he’s been too busy selling the Galaxy Gear for Samsung. Saint Nick promotes the “miracle” smartwatch’s built-in camera, its ability to take calls, and other features in a new one-minute ad uploaded to Samsung’s YouTube channel.

The ad is certainly a huge improvement over Samsung’s last Christmas clip for the Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II, which saw Mrs. Claus sharing a saucy video with Santa using Samsung’s S Beam feature. In front of the elves, too!

Is it just me, or does Santa sound like Steve Ballmer in this video? Also, is that the camera shutter sound from iOS at around 30 seconds? It certainly sounds like it.
