AT&T has officially announced that it will be offering Motorola’s flagship smartphone of 2013, the Moto X, completely free of charge on any of its 2-year contracts to celebrate Cyber Monday. This promotion will be available tomorrow, Monday, December 2, at 00:01 PST.

The Moto X was released back in August 2013, and features a 4.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 720 x 1280, a snappy 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, an Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of internal storage, a 10-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter and a mediocre 2,200 mAh battery.

The handset will ship running the latest build of “Vanilla” Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and will be upgradable to the latest version of Android 4.4 KitKat via a simple OTA update, which you will be prompted to complete once you power up the device and connect to a Wi-Fi network for the first time.

Sadly this promotion is only applicable to the standard black and white models of the handset which are available from AT&T’s website, so if you wish to design your own custom Moto X through MotoMaker you’ll still have to pay $99.99.

If you like the sound of the Moto X and wish to pick one up through this promotion visit AT&T’s website tomorrow.
