U.S. Cellular Now Selling The Galaxy S4 Mini For $50

Galaxy-S4-Mini

The Samsung Galaxy S4 mini has been making its way to a number of carriers in the U.S. in recent months, and you can now get it on U.S. Cellular. It’s just $49.99 when you take out a new two-year contract, or you can purchase it outright for $499.99 if you’d prefer not to enter into a new commitment.

It’s worth noting that U.S. Cellular’s outright price for the device is substantially higher than the Galaxy S4 mini’s regular price tag, so the carrier clearly wants you to choose the contract option instead.

If you’re adamant you don’t want to go down that route, but you want to use U.S. Cellular we recommend buying the handset unlocked elsewhere and then sticking a U.S. Cellular SIM in it. Amazon is currently selling the Galaxy S4 mini for $380 factory unlocked.

If you don’t mind a contract, then U.S. Cellular’s $49.99 price tag for the device isn’t bad at all. The Galaxy S4 mini is only a midrange device, but it does come with some nice specifications, including a 4.3-inch qHD display, a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5GB of RAM, and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera.

It also runs Samsung’s TouchWiz operating system, which comes with the usual plethora of software features.
