Camera Awesome Comes To Android After More Than 20M Downloads On iOS


Camera Awesome, a hugely popular camera app with over 20 million downloads on iOS, is now available on Android. It’s packed full with a ton of great features that help you get creative and take better pictures and videos with your smartphone or tablet.

Some of those features include video image stabilization; face recognition and tracking; the ability to manually set ISO, white balance, and exposure; and selective image editing. There are also several shooting modes, including high-speed burst, panorama, and HDR; and editing tools that include over 100 artistic effects.

Those with a handset powered by an NVIDIA Tegra processor will also be able to enjoy slow-motion video recording, enhanced HDR, and integrated stylus support.

Camera Awesome costs $2.99, and it currently supports the Nexus 4, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10; the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy S III, and Galaxy S4; the Sony Xperia Z, HTC One, Motorola Moto X, and DROID RAZR. Support for other devices is coming later.
