U.S. Cellular Rolls Out Android 4.3 Update For Samsung Galaxy S4

U.S. Cellular is the latest carrier to be rolling out the much-anticipated over-the-air updated OS version to all its Galaxy S4 carrier-branded smartphones. This hefty upgrade, which weighs in at 537MB, brings the latest build of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean together with support for the Galaxy Gear.

In addition to the abundance of added functionality that Android 4.3 brings, uses now also possess the ability to access Samsung’s KNOX enterprise security server on their Galaxy S4, thanks to the inclusion of the South Korean company’s “premium suite” software.

Unfortunately, Samsung doesn’t provide a detailed change log with its software updates, but here’s the details which U.S. Cellular packaged with this upgrade:

If you’re a U.S. Cellular customer and have not yet received the update OTA, you can head into “Settings,” then “About Device,” and select “Check for Updates” to manually scan for the upgrade.
