Canada’s largest mobile carrier, Rogers, is officially offering HTC’s most impressive mid-range Android-powered handset, the One Mini, on any of its 2-year contracts for C$99.99 or C$399.99 on a month-to-month tariff.

The One Mini is essentially a scaled down version of HTC’s flagship smartphone, the “HTC One,” packing a 4.3-inch 720p HD display, a 1.4GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (not expandable),an Adreno 305 GPU, a 4-megapixel “Ultrapixel” rear-facing camera and a non-removable 1,800 mAh battery.

In addition, the Mini also includes all the bells and whistles the original handset features, including Sense 5, BoomSound speakers enhanced with Beats Audio, and Zoe. Unfortunately, the handset ships running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and there’s no word suggesting that HTC is planning to upgrade the device to 4.3, let alone 4.4, any time soon.
