ASUS PadFone Mini Benchmarks Reveal Quad-Core Processor & Android 4.3

ASUS-PadFone-2

Last month, ASUS officially unveiled the PadFone Infinity 2, the latest addition to its increasingly popular tablet/smartphone hybrid range of devices that are capable of sending/receiving text messages as well as making phone calls. Now, it looks like the Taiwanese company is planning a Mini version of the Infinity 2, that’s designed to compete with the hordes of other mini devices on the market.

Early benchmarks of the upcoming handset reveal the model ID, PadFone T00C, is noticeably similar to the other models of the PadFone series which have the ability to seamlessly turn into a full sized Android-powered tablet.

According to recent leaks, rumors and speculation, the PadFone Mini is expected to feature a 4-inch Super IPS+ LCD capacitive touchscreen with a pixel density of 275 PPI, a Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 16GB/32GB of internal storage, 1.5GB of RAM, and will ship running the latest build of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

As with all leaks and rumors, we will have to take the alleged specifications with a pinch of salt until ASUS officially sends out invitations to its upcoming press event, which we anticipate as being not too much longer now.
