Google is rolling out a pretty sold update for its official Chrome for Android application, bringing users the ability to quickly navigate around the web browser without even having to tap any buttons, thanks to the implementation of a mass of new gesture controls.

According to Google, users will now be able to swipe horizontally across the navigation bar to quickly switch tabs, drag down vertically from the toolbar to enter “tab switcher” mode and drag down from the menu logo to open the menu and choose from the settings.

The official changelog for the update can be seen below:

  • Swipe horizontally across the top toolbar to quickly switch tabs.
  • Drag vertically down from the toolbar to enter into the tab switcher view.
  • Drag down from the menu to open the menu and select the item you want without having to lift your finger.
