O2 U.K. has officially announced that it will be offering the upcoming Nexus 7 LTE on its brand new 4G network, starting September 13, 2013. The British carrier will hold exclusivity over the LTE version of the 7-inch slate at launch, so unfortunately for them, rivals EE and Vodafone will not be selling the tablet any time soon.

The tablet is available to pre-order today on O2 PAYG 4G plans, which comes bundled with 2GB of free data to get you started for £319.99. In addition, pre-order customers will receive a complimentary ASUS official hard-shell premium cover.

The Nexus 7 packs a 7-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, an Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, 16/32GB of internal storage, and a 3,950 mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery.

O2 U.K. is also selling the Wi-Fi only Nexus 7 equipped with 32GB of internal storage for £249.99.
