AT&T Announces Market Expansion Plans For The Remainder Of 2013

AT&T has officially published its market expansion plans for the remainder of this year, and it’s pretty safe to say that it is right on track for its self set goal of providing nationwide coverage. Last night, in a press release the operator announced that its LTE connectivity will go live in five new markets starting from today, as well as expanding its existing coverage in another eight locations.

AT&T is the fastest 4G carrier in the U.S. and currently provides its service to over 225 million people in 370 markets, and is aiming to cover over 270 million people in 400 markets by the end of 2013.
