Official Nexus 7 Premium Covers Pop Up On Amazon
If you’re the proud owner of a new Nexus 7, or you intend to pick one up as soon as it goes on sale where you live, then you might be interested in the official Asus Nexus 7 Premium Cover, which has just started popping up on Amazon.
The Premium Cover combines a hard plastic shell with a soft, flexible cover to provide your new tablet with all-over protection. The cover folds up into a stand when your tablet is in use, and when it’s closed its microfiber lining will keep your display clean.
It is a little pricey, though. The white model will cost you $32.18, while the black model is priced at $42.88. They are the same product, but they’re priced differently because they are sold by two different vendors. At the moment, the Premium Cover isn’t yet available to purchase directly from Asus or Google.
It may be better to wait until it is if you want to save yourself a bit of cash; we’re expecting the official price to be around $30. There are already lots of third-party alternatives available as well, of course, but not all of them include magnets for the Nexus 7’s automatic sleep/wake function like the official case does.
