New Nexus 7 Now Available In Canada

Nexus7-9530

Google’s new Nexus 7 launched in the U.S. on July 30, and as of today – only a little over two weeks later – it’s available to purchase in Canada directly from the Play Store.

The Nexus 7 (2013) is significantly more powerful than last year’s model, packing a 7-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD display, a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 3950 mAh battery, and LTE capability.

The Wi-Fi only 16GB version will cost C$229, whereas the 32GB model will set you back C$269. Both editions of the slate are listed as in stock and will ship within 1-2 business days.

The tablet will also be available to purchase from several Canadian independent retailers in the very near future, but unfortunately there’s no word on its availability, just yet.
