The Samsung Galaxy S4 will today be available from C Spire, the eighth-largest carrier in the United States, according to an announcement made on the carrier’s discussion forum. The handset’s biggest competitor, the HTC One, is also “coming soon.”

C Spire hasn’t listed the Galaxy S4 on its website just yet, but a moderator made the announcement in its forum in a post that read:

The wait is almost over!! The Galaxy S 4 will be in stores on Monday, July 8th!

There’s also a link to C Spire’s YouTube channel, but there are no Galaxy S4 videos there yet, either.

We do expect promotional videos and the handset itself to appear later today, but we’ll have to wait until then for confirmation on pricing and availability. It’s likely the 16GB model will be priced at $199 with a two-year contract, which is in line with what other U.S. carriers are charging.

If the Galaxy S4 isn’t your thing, and you’d prefer the HTC One, you’ll be glad to know that’s “coming soon” to C Spire, too. You can register your interest now, and the carrier will let you know when it’s available.
