LG Optimus LTE Surpasses 1 Million Units Sold

LG was proud to announce that their HD LTE handset, the Optimus LTE, has surpassed 1 million units sold. That’s not too shaby for an LTE Android device launched only 3 months ago. The LG Optimus LTE is known here in the States as the the Nitro HD on AT&T and the Spectrum on Verizon. Neither device has been available that long so it will be interesting to see how they sell in the US as compared to Korea, where the device was launched.

The Optimus LTE touts itself as being the first LTE HD device and features a 4.5-inch 1280 x 720 (16:9 ratio) True HD IPS display. In addition to the HD display, you’ll find:

  • A 1.5GHz dual-core CPU
  • 8MP camera
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 1.3MP front-facing camera
  • 4G LTE
  • Android 2.3 (Gingerbread)
  • 1,830 mAh battery

As you can see, not to bad of a device, no wonder it did fairly well in Korea. Now let’s see how it fairs here in the US. Congrats LG, we hope to see more devices from you in the future.
