Huawei has begun teasing its new flagship Ascend P6, an Android-powered smartphone that “will WOW all consumers,” on its official Facebook page. The company doesn’t give away any information regarding the handset’s specifications, but it does plenty of boasting about its build quality.

“We believe that upcoming release of the flagship Huawei Ascend P6 will WOW all consumers,” Huawei said. “Huawei used the best materials and components, did amounts of reliability testing and invested a lot into the Huawei Ascend P6.”

“Consumers often can’t imagine the amount of time and work that goes into creating such a phone,” the message continued. “We never really had a chance to explain to the consumers that we are the best, but in fact let the phone sell itself.”

Sounds interesting, doesn’t it? Unfortunately, we don’t know how long Huawei will keep us waiting before the Ascend P6 is announced. Given that it’s now teasing the handset on Facebook, however, we expect it to come pretty soon.

We do have a good idea what the device will look like, thanks to the leaked press shot published by EvLeaks, which shows off its incredibly thin metal form factor. Rumors claim the Ascend P6 will measure just 6.2mm thick, and that it’ll pack a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage.

As soon as we hear more, we’ll let you know.
