Google Introduces Three New Accessories For The Nexus 4

Nexus-4

If you’re a Nexus 4 owner and you’re lacking a few accessories, Google has your back. The company has released three new accessories via the Google Play Store, including some earphones, a USB cable, and a power adapter. Although the prices aren’t as low as we’d expect, they aren’t too bad for an official mobile device accessory.

The first item that appears on the Play Store is the earphones. These earphones have a flat, tangle-free cable, along with a microphone for taking calls and recording speech. The earphones have an aluminium backing, which results in them being fairly durable, they also have a double rubber ear piece – this means the earphones should fit comfortably in your ear. However, there’s no guarantees on how these earphones perform, but for $20 you can’t go wrong!

The second item that appears on the Play Store is Google’s Nexus power adapter. The power adapter is a standard wall charger providing 1.2A of power, the power adapter requires a Micro USB cable. The power adapter is the same as the factory adapter that comes in the Nexus’s box, purchasing the replacement power adapter will set you back $16.

The third item that appears on the Play Store is a Micro USB cable. The cable is identical to the stock one that comes in the box and is nothing but a standard USB to Micro USB cable. The cable will set you back $10 – which is no price to pay for a durable, well made cable.

It’s a shame that Google didn’t release these replacement accessories at the same time as the Nexus 4, as many Nexus 4 owners have already purchased these replacement accessories from an external source.
