Charcoal Black Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Revealed In Leaked Image

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 was one of the bigger announcements at Mobile World Congress last week, and we had fun with it during our hands-on. If you’re not a fan of white tablets, however, you may have been disappointed that this was the only color Samsung had on show.

But it may not be the only color Samsung launches this month. A Charcoal Black version of the Galaxy Note 8.0 has appeared in a leaked press photo that’s quickly been making its way around the web.

First obtained by PhoneArena from an “anonymous source,” this is the first image of the Galaxy Note 8.0 we’ve seen that isn’t white — and it’s sure to please those who avoid white devices. There’s no way of confirming its authenticity at this point, unfortunately, but it certainly looks genuine to us.

And there’s no reason to doubt that Samsung would launch other colors. The Korean company offers its other smartphones and tablets in different colors — including grey, white, black, blue, red, and even pink — so it always seemed likely the Galaxy Note 8.0 would have other options sooner rather than later.

Having said that, it’s unclear when the Charcoal Black model will be available. It could launch alongside the white model, or Samsung could save it until later on; we’ll just have to wait to find out.
