Asus unveiled its 10-inch MeMO Pad Smart back in January, and the company has today confirmed that it will be available to purchase in the United States from Tuesday, March 5. Those who has been waiting to get their hands on the device now have just a few days to wait before they can purchase one.

The MeMO Pad Smart is the beefier version of the MeMO Pad 7, the affordable slate that Asus unveiled at CES in early January. It boasts a 1.2GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a microSD card slot. Its 10-inch display boasts a 1280×800 resolution, and it has two cameras — a 5-megapixel camera on its back, and a 1.2-megapixel camera on its front.

Other features include Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, SRS audio technology, and a battery that promises up to 8.5 hours of runtime. The MeMO Pad Smart measures 263 x 180.8 x 9.9mm, weighs 580 grams, and comes in three colors: white, blue, and pink.

In the U.S., the device is expected to sell for $299, and it’ll be available alongside an official Asus keyboard case called the Folio Key.
