Flipboard Update Brings Your News Headlines To Jelly Bean’s Daydream Feature

The latest Flipboard update introduces support for Android 4.2 Jelly Bean’s new Daydream feature, allowing users to view their news headlines while their device is charging. The Flipboard app becomes your screensaver, updating automatically over Wi-Fi to display the latest news stories.

You’ll need to be running Android 4.2 to take advantage of the new feature, because unfortunately Daydream isn’t a part of previous Android releases. The latest version of Flipboard can be found in Google Play using the source link at the bottom of this post.

To activate Flipboard in Daydream, open up your settings app, then choose ‘Display’ — you should find the Daydream preferences in here.
