Jelly Bean For The DROID RAZR And RAZR MAXX HD To Start Rolling Out Next Week

Verizon has some good news for all you Motorola DROID RAZR HD/MAXX HD owners out there. Beginning next week, Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) will begin rolling out in phases. Users will finally be able to take advantage of all the great features introduced in Jelly Bean such as Google Now, expandable notifications, and more.

Ever since the RAZR M was treated to Jelly Bean, RAZR HD/MAXX HD users have been anxiously awaiting news about an update for their respective devices. Since that time, Android has been updated two additional times and currently sits on version 4.2.1. Given Verizon’s track record with updates, we’re guessing the RAZR HD/MAXX HD won’t see the latest version of Android for a very long time, if at all.
