Introducing The 32GB Nexus 7: More Storage, Same Low Price

Last on the list of announced Nexus devices is a refresh of the popular Nexus 7. The 32GB Nexus 7 was probably the least secret of all the new devices announced. Retailers just couldn’t keep this thing under wraps and even went as far as to sell a few before Google ever had the chance to announce its existence. Nevertheless, Google has finally got around to giving us the full details and they’re just as expected.

When Google first announced the Nexus 7, they absolutely nailed pricing. However, they failed by limiting storage capacity to a maximum of 16GB while also underestimated the demand for a mobile connection. Many users may be completely content with their 16GB of storage and Wi-Fi only, but there’s also a whole market of people looking for more and willing to pay for it.

Thankfully, Google has given us more, but more importantly, isn’t making us pay much for it. The new 32GB Wi-Fi only Nexus 7 is priced exactly as the 16GB model once was at $249. The 16GB has dropped down to an amazing $199 and if you’re looking to get your hands on the 32GB Mobile data model — it’ll only cost you $50 extra at $299.

Google has not only made owning a tablet an affordable option for all, but they’ve made it enjoyable and far exceeded our perception of a budget tablet.

The 32GB Nexus 7 isn’t supposed to go on sale until November 13th but you won’t have that hard of a time finding a retailer already stocking and selling them (Walmart, Office Max).
