Introducing The LG Nexus 4: A 16GB Quad-Core Nexus Device Running Android 4.2 For $349

Despite the fact that Google had to cancel today’s Nexus event, they have gone ahead and released all the info on the next batch of Nexi. The LG Nexus 4 has been unveiled and now has a landing page on Google Play. You’ve probably gathered all you need to know from the plethora of leaks we’ve seen, but I’ll go over the official list of specs and pricing for those of you just finding out about LG’s very first Nexus device.

The LG Nexus 4 will be available in either an 8GB or 16GB model. Both versions are expected to go on sale on November 13th and will cost $299 and $349 respectively. Other than storage capacity and price, specs for the two models are identical. Both feature:

  • A 4.7-inch 1280 x 768 WXGA IPS display (320 ppi) – Corning Gorilla Glass 2
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro
  • 2GB RAM
  • HSPA+
  • 8MP rear camera
  • 1.3MP front-facing camera
  • Android 4.2
  • 2100mAh battery
  • Micro USB
  • SlimPort HDMI
  • 3.5mm headphone jack
  • Wireless charging
  • WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
  • NFC (Android Beam)
  • Bluetooth
  • And more!

The LG Nexus 4 carries many disappointments and makes me wonder what Google was thinking, but I’ll rant about that later. Just be aware, you will not be getting LTE, your max storage will be 16GB with no expandable memory, and the battery is non-removable.
