Sony Begins Rolling Out Ice Cream Sandwich To The Xperia Go, Sola, And U Smartphones

A bit of good news for Sony Xperia go, sola, and U users. Today, Sony began rolling out Android 4.0 to all three devices and plans to continue to do so globally, over the next few weeks. The update brings all of the great features of Ice Cream Sandwich along with a few new media applications and a “Glove Mode” for sola users.

Glove Mode builds off of Sony’s “floating touch” technology, and as you can guess, gives users the ability to interact with their device while wearing gloves. This feature will certainly come in handy with the cold weather right around the corner.
