Nexus 7 Hits Play Stores In Germany, Spain, And France

Semi-good news for anyone living in Germany, Spain, or France. The Google Nexus 7 is now available to you via the Google Play Store and can be had for €199 for the 8GB model and €249 for the 16GB. This is slightly above U.S. pricing, which isn’t uncommon for the European market, but at least they will be able to enjoy a wealth of content and features, as well as Jelly Bean. Unfortunately, Google Music and Google Magazines is still unavailable.

Hopefully Google will make it a priority to make all content available to European owners — as the point is to get people consuming content to sustain the ecosystem. If you don’t allow them access, how can you expect to sell them anything? It would also be nice to see Google roll out its new Play Store gift cards to countries beyond the U.S. as these are sure to create a huge boost in paid content consumption.

Well, it is was it is for now. At least you can grab a Nexus 7 while they’re still hot. Hit up your Play Store for more information.
