If you’re reading this blog, there’s a pretty good chance you grew up in an age of joysticks, 8-bit graphics, and chiptune music. Well, I almost shed a tear today, as I heard the soundtrack of my youth being played in a YouTube video featuring the only reason you’ll ever need for purchasing a tablet: The Android Arcade!
A video uploaded by StusApps has me giddy with excitement. They managed to build the ultimate mini-MAME machine, incorporating a Lenovo K1 tablet, Android 4.0.4, Mame4droid with over 8,000 games, and a Wii Tatsunoko Vs Capcom stick connected via bluetooth, all neatly packaged inside a custom cabinet — whose building plans are currently locked away in a top secret facility.
I really only have one thing left to say: “I want this, and I want it now!” Seriously, everyone go bug this guy until he can’t sleep anymore. How dare he tease us with such epicness and then keep its secrets to himself!
