Amazon’s Future Tablet Ambitions Include A 10-Inch Model According To Staples President

The Kindle Fire was the best thing to happen to the tablet market in my opinion, and if Amazon where to simply close the book on their tablet ambitions after the Fire, it would just be silly. We can, of course, assume there will be more content consumption devices to come from Amazon. While there haven’t been any official announcements, president of U.S. retail for Staples has spilled the beans on Amazon’s plans to introduce up to five or six tablet SKUs of various sizes, including a 10-inch model.

As long as Amazon keeps to the pricing model of affordability, as they did with the Kindle Fire, any future device they release will be a cash cow for digital content consumption. I look forward to anything Amazon has planned for the future — as I have them to thank for my amazingly affordable Nexus 7 — and a 10-inch model would be great (I prefer the larger screen).

Amazon has been doing a great job at establishing partnerships and deals to provide an abundance of great digital content for their customers and that’s led to customer/brand loyalty. Expect a whole lot more from Amazon in the future.
