Samsung Needs To Add Defense Lawyer To List Of Features In U.S. Galaxy S III Variant

I kid you not, I’m shaking my head as I type these words. You guessed it, Apple is at it again, making the world a better place one lawsuit at a time. The Samsung Galaxy S III has become Apple’s next target, which makes sense, considering it’ll most certainly propel Android’s market share even higher (if that’s possible).

Apple has asked a judge to add the Samsung Galaxy S III to its current motion against the Galaxy Nexus, claiming that the Galaxy S III is similar enough to the Galaxy Nexus to be bundled in the same motion. It’s actually quite ridiculous but then again, so is this whole patent game.

Apple is claiming the Samsung Galaxy S III, like the Galaxy Nexus, infringes on the data tap patent and unified search patents. I guess we should be thankful Apple hasn’t tacked on the slide to unlock and keyboard suggestions. Of course Samsung doesn’t agree and will surely win its argument for having a separate motion.

I’m going to have to start taking bets on the outcomes of all these frivolous suits brought about by Apple, it would be a great way for me to get something out of this nonsense.

I’m certainly not going to lose any sleep over this, and you shouldn’t either. You can fully expect your Samsung Galaxy S III to arrive as planned and Apple to continue wasting its money and ruining its public perception. Sounds like a win-win for Android.
