It may be warm where you are this Christmas, but you’ll still find plenty of snow inside the Spotify app for Android. Simply open it up and start enjoying your favorite tunes, and you’ll see a virtual snowfall that’s enough to make anyone feel a little festive.

The snow falls only in the Spotify app for Android, for some reason; we’ve tried to make it appear on iOS, too, but we’ve had no luck. There is no update needed to see the snowfall — it just happens… as if by magic.

It’s probably pretty annoying if you’re not a fan of the festive season, but at least it’s only temporary. As far as we can tell, though, it cannot be disabled manually, so you’ll just have to try and ignore it for a few days. The good news is, you’ll only see it on the now playing screen, so while you’re navigating the menus and searching for songs, it disappears.
